LPG boiler installation

The fuel for your LPG boiler has to be stored in a tank, which can be situated underground or above. This means fuel deliveries as there’s no mains connection like with gas, so you need to keep an eye on your fuel level to avoid being left without.
LPG is a more expensive fuel than oil or gas, although they are efficient to run, with an estimated 90% efficiency rating.
Gas boiler installation
Gas boilers work well for houses connected to the main gas grid, and because of this you need never worry about running out - so long as you pay your bill! The boilers themselves tend to be less compact than LPG boilers, although they do not require an outside or underground tank, making them more space-saving in other ways.
There is a wide choice of gas boilers to suit what your home needs, including combi if you have one bathroom and system or conventional if your home has multiple bathrooms and more occupants.
Gas boilers are considered convenient, thanks to the delivery of gas to the boiler via underground pipes, negating the need to order or have an outside tank. They also cost less to run than LPG, although they are unlikely to be as efficient.
